Day #1709 (Mon., Sep. 8, 2014) – Time To Celebrate
I am in correspondence with the Chapel Hill Police Department. Once of their officers is coming out sometime soon to go over our house and evaluate a good alarm system for us.
My wife sent me an email at 2pm today asking me to call her. We got the good news we were hoping for. We are going to have a boy! Time to celebrate.
On the way home from work today I picked up some Moe’s. Along with the regular two whole wheat Joey’s I picked up some queso for my wife, a Snickerdoodle cookie for Katie, and a bottle of beer for myself. I then drove to Trader Joe’s where I got my money back for the bad hummus I picked up during the weekend and a bunch of roses (see photo to the right).
The next stop was to WalGreens were I picked up my wife’s prescription. I was looking for a gift for a boy and almost left when I saw a little Hot Wheels car…a truck actually…a yellow/gold Datsun truck like my father had.
