Day #1800 (Mon., Dec. 8, 2014) – Curtain Rods For Katie’s Room
My wife went to Lowe’s this morning to pick up some curtain rods for Katie’s new room (see photo to the right).
At noon I went to Lowe’s as well. I wanted to pick up a gallon of the “Dreamy Heather” wall paint for Katie’s new room so that it would be on hand after the walls were primed. I looked around for a white light switch cover but there were none of the size we need…the light switches in our house are that old. I can always paint the current ones, which might be the best option.
I was very tired this evening and wanted to sit in the LazyBoy and watch some news with my dinner. Katie ran in front of me and sat in it…kind of “claiming it”. She had Angelina Ballerina on the television for quite some time and was not watching it. Instead she was bouncing around mommy talking about her upcoming birthday party. I made her give me the chair and she went to her room crying. She needs to learn to share and tonight is just as good a time as any to get the process rolling. If she had been in the chair and watching her television show then it would have been another story.
