Day #1828 (Mon., Jan. 5, 2015) – Wal-Mart Thank You Photos
The photo to the left shows the “Flying Fairy” that Katie got yesterday for her birthday.
They are having a teacher prep day so no school for Katie today. She will be starting school tomorrow and as my wife has a meeting I will be dropping Katie off.
My wife went and got some “Thank You” cards made at Wal-Mart for the birthday gifts that Katie received yesterday. The center piece of the card is a photo of the children in front of a cow figure at Maple View Farms yesterday. There was a little red dot on the bottom of the prints but I don’t think anyone will even notice. Even if they do the picture of their child in the photo will more than make up for it.
I stopped off at Trader Joe’s for supplies this evening. Sunday evening and Monday are the worst days to go in terms of supplies so there was not much to choose from. I ended up going to Harris-Teeter for strawberries and chicken breasts.
While at Trader Joe’s I picked up 16 cupcakes for Katie’s preschool. We are providing snacks for her class this week.
Katie was a great help in putting groceries away this evening. She mentioned that she is getting ready to be a help when her little brother arrives. We sure hope so.
