Day #1858 (Wed., Feb. 4, 2015) – Magic Book
I took today off to prepare my tax information. I’m going to be doing our tax returns this year and avoid all the dramas with accountants.
My wife has caught a cold so she went to bed early tonight. I tended to Katie while she rested. Katie is back into her interest in magicians. We watched some Masked Magician videos on YouTube. I went downstairs to find the old magic book I bought years ago. You can see a photo of it to the left. The print is rather fine, and the magic can be quite complicated, so perhaps a lot of the tricks are not easy to do with Katie.
When I put Katie to bed this evening our story was the “lighter” version of the magic book that was kicking around. I told her that maybe this year for Halloween I could be the masked magician and she could be my lovely assistant.
When my wife got up this evening her voice was gone. I made her a bowl of buckwheat. Katie was quite fascinated with the concept of losing your voice.
