Day #1874 (Fri., Feb. 20, 2015) – Batman’s New Hiding Place
As I’ve relayed many times in the past, Batman is scared of Katie and will run away whenever she comes into the room. Well, from the photo to the left it looks like he has found a new hiding place…little Bobby’s changing table. I wonder how much problem there will be getting him to give this up when little Bobby comes along? Judging from the relationship with Katie all little Bobby will need to do is cry and Batman will head for the hills.
The heating went out again in the middle of the night. I got a great idea while I was sleeping…let gravity do the trick. In other words I fixed it via the “water flows down hill method”. Tie the hose up high and let gravity drain it outside. In this way there will be no water in the tube to free. Works great in principle…but I did have to experiment a bit on how high to make the initial drop…
I finally made it to work this morning. My wife had a meeting and made it to work as well. Another day of cancelled school for Katie. Nicki came to take care of Katie til noon, then it was Casey’s turn. Katie really likes her and put up a big fuss when it was time for her to go.
On the way home from work this evening I stopped off at WalGreens and picked up another couple of packages of baby diapers for Katie since the sale was so good. Normally 2 for a bit less than $20. Now 2 for $12.
