Day #1982 (Mon., June 8, 2015) – Botanical Gardens
I dropped my Fender Strat off at the Music Loft at noon today. It needs to have the neck adjusted. While there I saw the strange little bass in the photo to the left. Looks like it’s part “pogo stick”. The repair guy didn’t have very many nice things to say about it.
Hannah took Katie to the Botanical Gardens today. Hannah said she was more interested in the frogs and crayfish than the structures.
I made “hamburger medallions” for dinner this evening. It’s an old-time favorite of Katie’s.
We went for a stroll with little Bobby tonight. We saw Judy’s best friend while we were out and about. She said “one child is just a mother and a father with a child but two children is a family”. Interesting thought…
While we were out Helen came to her door and said hi to Katie. She said that they were having dinner but unfortunately she didn’t come out when we passed by her house on the way home. Katie was upset. I’m not sure how relaxing these walks are going to be if Katie is going to be fussy and upset all the time…
I gave Katie a piece of my bell pepper this evening. She likes it. Quite a surprise…
