Day #2054 (Wed., Aug. 19, 2015) – The Greensboro Science Center
Today Kirsten took Katie to the Greensboro Science Center (see photo to the right). It features a science museum, zoo, OmniSphere Theater and an aquarium all in one location. In 2014 my wife and I talked about taking Katie there during our trip to the Greensboro Children’s Museum. That next week we learned that she was pregnant and with all the morning sickness and “whatever” that followed we never made it…
Katie was jumping up and down with excitement when she saw the penguins. She got to pat some stingrays (with two fingers as she added). They also had a little musical about Meerkats. For lunch she had a hot dog and some “Honey Mustard” sauce. I guess she loved this sauce so I told my wife how to make it.
When I got home from work this evening my wife and little Bobby were both in bed. Little Bobby was soon up. I put a pizza with mushrooms in the oven for when Katie eventually got home…I knew she would be hungry.
Little Bobby went wild in the Jumperoo this evening. This is the first time I’ve seen him take to it so strongly.
