Day #2055 (Thu., Aug. 20, 2015) – Greensboro Water Park
Little Bobby weighed in at 21 lbs 1.5 oz today.
Kasey and Kirsten took Katie to the Greensboro Water Park. We were all amazed at how brave she was. She wanted to go down all the slides (see photo to the right). She even wanted to go down the slides that were more advanced for her age. What happened to the little girl I took to Monkey Joe’s last year and had to go retrieve her at the top of the slide because she was too scared to come down?
It was a rough day at work so I went to bed as soon as I came home from work. My wife and I will usually trade off who will go to bed and have a nap depending on who had the roughest day. Luckily we have never really been in the situation where both of us NEED to go to bed for a nap at the same time.
My wife sent me the following snippet of interesting information: “In Becky Killough’s kindergarten class of 23, students arrive with all different levels of preparedness. Some are ready to learn, others, TA Paige Adams said, “don’t know how to stand in a line. They don’t know how to hold a crayon, let alone what color it is.”.
