Day #2062 (Thu., Aug. 27, 2015) – Dropping Katie Off At Kindergarten
I thought I might have to stay home from work today due to my allergies, but in the end I drove Katie to school. There is a drop off point you drive to at which point Katie needs to get out of the car from the backseat car door she does not normally use. She remembered to take her backpack but I had to remind her to take her smoothie with her.
I left for home around 3:00pm this afternoon and promptly went to bed. I’m not sure if it is allergies or a cold or “what”, but it is sure draining all of my energy. I did get up in time to help feed little Bobby and put Katie to bed. Katie and I drew some pictures and put animal stickers on them. You can see our “farm scene” with horses in the photo to the right.
Shortly before it was bedtime Katie and I hid on the LazyBoy with a red blanket in front of us. Only our heads were showing as we pretended to little Bobby we were a two-headed monster. He seemed delighted with all the attention he was getting.
We think we have a raccoon problem. Something is eating the cat’s food and this evening we thought we heard the pitter-patter of tiny feet in the attic.
