Day #2098 (Fri., Oct. 2, 2015) – Hurricane In The Forecast
Still raining “cats & dogs”. In fact, it started raining last Friday so it’s been a week. With a hurricane in the forecast for the weekend it doesn’t provide much hope for the rain relenting.
Katie was all dressed up in her raincoat and boots as I drove her to school this morning. She was really bad in counting to 50 today. In fact, she couldn’t remember what came after 8? Perhaps she is tired and needs to go to bed early…
On the drive to Glenwood I told Katie that when she is playing with one of her friends and Eleri comes up and tries to take her away, just say “I’m playing with ??? right now. You’re welcome to join us”. If she doesn’t want to join then say “Ok, I’ll see you later then”. Let’s see how this goes…
My wife was getting Katie’s fall clothes ready this evening. As you can see Batman & Robin wanted to help out…
This evening Katie told me that she didn’t see Eleri today as it was raining. I guess when it is raining they stay inside and have their recess sessions indoors.
