Day #2196 (Fri., Jan 8, 2016) – Dr. Katie
The photo to the left shows the signature that the surgeon made on my knee.
My wife woke me up around 7:20am this morning as she had to take Katie to Glenwood and then go to work. I minded little Bobby for about 10 minutes til Arnesa came but was very sick to my stomach during the whole time. Before she left for school Katie asked me if I remembered to keep my leg up last night (something the doctor told me to do).
Once Arnesa came I went right to bed. Not sure what they are giving me but I was very sleepy. Also, I was extremely sick to my stomach whenever I stood up but felt fine when I was sleeping. As a result, I slept for most of the day. I didn’t get up for lunch or dinner til about 6pm this evening.
When I woke up the family and Arnesa were in the living room. Katie had just gotten out of her dance class and was bounding about in her outfit. Little Bobby was laughing and grinning and enjoying all the excitement.
I kept addressing Katie as “Dr. Katie” (she liked that). She would help bring me food and take my dishes.
