There was a local consignment sale that my wife wanted to go to this morning. Katie was interested in going as well so my wife took her. Katie picked up a little plush dog with a little tongue hanging out (not sure if it reminds her of little Bobby?). My wife picked up a doctor/vet coat for Katie. A bit big…but she will grow into it. Katie also picked up a Sesame Street book about witches for little Bobby.
I drove to Embassy Suites in Cary to pick up Inga. She used to live in Carboro and attended UNC but now lives in Lithuania with her husband and two small boys. She works for SAS and is in town for training. She came to our house to spend the day. I took her through Chapel Hill and to see Weaver Street Market (near where she used to live).
We had TJ’s lasagna as the main dish. Katie enjoyed dishing out the salad. Katie had a full plate of tomatoes.
Inga was really impressed with Katie’s manners and asked me where she got them from. I guess Katie showed her to the bathroom and asked her if she would be able to find her way back.
When I was about to take Inga home guessed what arrived at our doorstep? The Radio Flyer wagon (see photo to the right) we are going to give to little Bobby for his birthday next Saturday.
