Day #2267 (Sat., Mar. 19, 2016) – Cotton Candy
I went to Trader Joe’s for supplies this morning. I needed gas so I stopped off at the SpeedWay down the road. They had cotton candy so I had to get some for Katie (see photo to the right). The ingredients state: sugar, artificial color & artificial flavoring. Kind of a bit of a joke, but what if it just had organic sugar in it? You could then call it “organic cotton candy”… Not really healthy, but I bet it will sell due to the “organic” in the name…
Katie was in a very strange mood today. She wanted pizza and cherries from Trader Joe’s but she didn’t touch either. My wife thinks that all the schooling she is getting is a bit too much for her. She wants to roam and play and be with her friends…
Katie was throwing the ball around this evening and it accidentally hit my plate as I was eating on the LazyBoy. I said that we needed someone to take Katie for a walk as the walk she had last week with Gabby’s family seemed to tire her out. My wife added that it could be a dog walker and Katie got offended that we were teasing her about being a dog. Not intended…but she teared up none-the-less.
Just before we put Katie to bed this evening we put a Chinese Tap video and some River Dance on the television courtesy of YouTube. It would be nice if Irish Step Dancing was here in Chapel Hill as it’s just the thing to wear off some of Katie’s excess energy. Maybe having her more involved in swimming will do the trick?
Bobby has learned how to open the gate to the hallway. He is so observant of what we do. Now I will have to make that secure as well.
