Day #2418 (Wed., Aug 17, 2016) – Creek Stomp
I dropped Katie off at Spence’s Farm this morning. She told me that today they are having a “Creek Stomp”. I guess this involves a lot of swimming in the creek and playing with the little lobsters and snakes in the vicinity.
Katie was telling me that the creek was a “horror”…she got cut up pretty badly on the rocks. She did enjoy seeing the lobsters and snakes though. Apparently they only have “Creek Stomp” on Wednesday. Tomorrow they get to ride the horses.
I found a great little present for Bobby…a bag of jars (see photo to the left). My wife kept them over the years as it is always nice to have little jars around. Bobby gets to play with the various shapes and you know he loves to screw them on and off.
I tried to feed Bobby this evening but he was not interested in the least. He did enjoy playing with his glass of ice water though…especially the ice cubes. When I gave him a spoon of Trader Joe’s O’s he would just spit them out.
I went to Trader Joe’s tonight for supplies. I got a beef roast which will be great in the slow cooker with some vegetables. I needed to get a number of snacks for Katie as well. I picked up some stickers with various alphabets and words as I was checking out.
