Day #2436 (Sun., Sept. 4, 2016) – Family Dinner At Wendy’s
My wife took Katie and Bobby to the park this morning while I went for a nice long two hour dip in the O2 Fitness pool. The doctor wants me to swim and walk in the pool as a form of exercise for my bad knee…let’s hope this pays off. Bobby went up to a kid and gave him the “Hi-5” sign but the other kid was not interested.
This afternoon was episode #2 of “Katie’s Candy Review Show”. Her favorite candy today was the red lobster gummy bear. She sure didn’t like the red hot fireball and spit it out.
My wife had a nice long nap this afternoon. While she was sleeping Katie and I played with the two tigers she got yesterday. Katie also expressed an interest in Star Trek so I put the episode “The Trouble With Tribbles” on television as it has some “pet like” creatures.
This afternoon we bundled up the kids and took them to the “Spirit” Halloween Store. Unfortunately it was not open so we ended up at TJ Maxx. We went to Wendy’s afterwards for dinner where Katie got to have another hamburger she likes (without Ketchup) via a kid’s meal. The kid’s meal also had a little toy with various glasses, etc. you could pretend you were wearing. You can see Bobby playing with them in the photo to the left. On the way out I picked up some ketchup containers that Bobby and I played with tonight. He likes stacking and sorting things…
