On the drive to Glenwood this morning Katie and I made plans to have a duet on the weekend. I’ll play the guitar while she plays her songs on the piano. This lead to a discussion on how many guitars I owned and how Katie wanted to teach Bobby the bass guitar and protect him in case it fell on him.
The photo to the left shows some of the swim toys that we bought during the summer for those long summer days of splashing in the pool. For some reason the cats love them as well. Notice all the teeth marks. Not sure why?
Bobby has learned how to get onto the kitchen counter via a chair. We saw him walk past us with the baby bottle holder and he even managed to get a glass of milk from one of the glasses on the counter. We’re going to have to really keep our eyes on him now that he is more mobile and has a love of heights.
We recorded a Lawrence Welk show a couple of weeks ago and Bobby really enjoys it. Both he and Katie like the segment where Sandy and Sally sing “Anything Goes”. Too bad shows like this don’t exist anymore. They seem to be entertaining for old and young alike.
