Day #2522 (Tue., Nov. 29, 2016) – Christmas Stockings
The Christmas stockings are up (see photo to the left). One for each member of the family.
I got a text from Karen this morning. She wanted to update my wife with pictures of Bobby at the park. My wife left her cell phone at home so I gave her an email address to send them to.
Helen came over to our house to play today. Katie doesn’t want to go over to Helen’s house anymore. This may change in the future but for now they will both be coming over to our house. I’m not sure how Susan, Helen’s mom, feels about this.
I’m thinking that Bobby would like a more elaborate Hot Wheels track for Christmas. This little “Spidey” Hot Wheels track was a hit during the Thanksgiving weekend so it’s time to ramp it up a notch. They don’t seem to have the tracks that I had when I was a kid, so we’ll build one. I figure some more tracks and a 180-degree curve will fit in nicely. More track so that the cars will have a longer area to travel and the curve will come in handy to bring the cars back to the original position. Without this curve I would have to get up and go get the cars and with my knee that’s not a great idea.
