Day #2524 (Thu., Dec. 1, 2016) – Welcome Baby Ayra
My wife had a meeting at Katie’s school this morning so she took Katie and I got the chance to sleep in a bit. A lady I work with had her car in the shop so I picked her up and took her to work. Her husband is a neuro-surgeon at Duke.
Arnesa had her baby at 12:30pm this afternoon. She weighed in at over 9 lbs. Katie was so excited about baby Ira that she drew a card this evening (see photo to the right).
My wife sent me this email this afternoon:
So apparently a month ago (right after he didn’t get the principal’s position), Katie’s assistant principal Mr. Liles gave a resignation letter. His last day is next Friday. To honor him, kids will be wearing superhero costumes. Do you know what women superheroes Katie likes?
My wife picked out a Wonder Woman costume which is fine with me.
Another dance class this afternoon.
