Day #2543 (Tue., Dec. 20, 2016) – One More For Katie’s Birthday? No!
Katie forgot to put her backpack in the car on the way to Glenwood this morning so I had to turn around and go get it. We got into the “Kiss & Go” line around 8:40am. There were a lot of other cars there as well.
Pick Katie up at 2:30pm. She got 5 chomps today for being so nice to people.
There was a big drama tonight in regards to Katie’s birthday. I guess she met a girl at the park who she wanted to invite to her birthday. My wife said that she had already assembled a guest list and she could not just invite everyone that she meets. Well, Katie went wild. She was crying in her bed so I went to talk to her. She ended up going to bed without her dinner. My wife hopes that she is not coming down with something.
After the Katie drama, my wife wanted to go to bed for a nap so I tended to Bobby for the evening. He was his typical curious self. He tried to get into my wife’s knapsack and found a couple of cookies when he finally did.
We also brought out the “Monster Eyes” assembly kit (see photo to the left) that we got for Katie a while back. It was one of those toys that looked good on the ads but really didn’t deliver in reality. Katie never really played with it much and Bobby’s analysis was much the same. It’s hard to compete with Duplo or Lego…
Once my wife got up from her nap we traded places…I went to bed.
