Day #2547 (Sat., Dec. 24, 2016) – Calling NORAD Three Times!
We called Norad three times today to check on where Santa was. As expected, it was harder to get a person as the day progressed…but we did manage to talk to someone each time. Each of the operators emphasized the importance of the children going to bed early or else Santa would not come.
On the way back from the gym I stopped off at the Dollar Store to pick up some stocking stuffers. I ended up getting about $35 worth of goods…quite a few of them were Spiderman products for Bobby’s birthday. I also stopped off at Lowe’s to check out the various options for wood and sticks in creating a pinata.
Katie is very excited about tomorrow. She put out some milk and cookies for Santa (see photo to the left). We may have to let her open her Lego set first thing rather than wait for Anesa and her family to arrive tomorrow.
Bobby managed to put two Duplo blocks together this evening. He just works at it and works at it til he gets it.
He loves to sit on daddy’s tummy on the LazyBoy and watch “Man” on YouTube.
