Day #2554 (Sat., Dec. 31, 2016) – Play Date With Penny
Penny, our new neighbor, came over for a play date with Katie today. She said that there was nothing in our house that she wanted to play with and since we could not seem to please her my wife took her back home.
My wife took Katie to the Chapel Hill library this afternoon.
My wife bought some Spiderman books (see photo to the right) for Bobby as he is so into “Man” these days.
Wyatt came over later in the day to play with Katie and this play date went much better. Katie was a bit upset when he cleaned the dirt off his hands. It was an accident but Katie took it like he was “throwing dirt at her”.
I stopped off at Trader Joe’s for supplies this afternoon. I got some chocolate covered sponge toffee for Katie. I asked Wyatt if he wanted me to get anything special for him. He said “just anything”. He’s so easy to please.
Bobby has started to say new words as of late. “Back” means bathroom and “Duck” means that he wants down off the high chair.
I put some duct tape on the Hot Wheels track so that it secures it better to the floor. I took this opportunity to explain kenetic energy to Katie and she could see the result as the card went much further.
