Day #2577 (Mon., Jan. 23, 2017) – Kidney Stone Or Appendix Or Hernia
The photo to the right shows the dog coloring book that Katie picked up at Wal-Mart yesterday. It cost close to $4 and in examining the receipt it looks like it was supposed to be part of a 3-pack. Wal-Mart usually has inexpensive stuff…this is something you could pick up at the Dollar Store for only a buck. Oh well, Katie wanted it so we got it.
Daddy had a very sore hip this morning…perhaps I overdid it yesterday. I went to see Dr. John, the PA down the road and he sent me to Wake Radiology for a CT scan. They are not sure exactly what it could be…perhaps a kidney stone, perhaps an appendix problem or perhaps a hernia. He gave me a couple of meds and told me to come and see him again tomorrow if I wasn’t better. sees DR. in AM. CT Scan. Two meds. Nothing shows up…see Dr. in AM tomorrow.
Katie had a playdate with Helen this afternoon. We notice that she tends to be quite wild and hard to put to bed in the evening.
Daddy is not feeling very well today but that doesn’t stop Bobby’s desire to see him. He was very upset with me this evening that I couldn’t come to the living room and sit in the LazyBoy and especially play with him on the floor.
Daddy effectively slept all day. I didn’t eat or drink much. Days like this are hard on my wife as it’s hard to put two kids to bed all by herself.
