Day #2578 (Tue., Jan. 24, 2017) – Appointment With A Surgeon
Katie made me a “Get Well Soon” note (see photo to the right).
Karen came to work this morning. I saw her as I was leaving to see Dr. John but I was in no mood to talk about my illness. My wife drove me but I was so sick we talked about perhaps having to go to the emergency room first. Dr. Reardon feels confident that it is a hernia but Dr. John is not as convinced. They set up an appointment with a surgeon for Thursday to confirm.
Bobby slept til after 10am this morning. Fortunately, he was still sleeping when I got home from the doctor’s office so I could get to bed without any drama. He will often say “Sssttt” and motion downward with his hands indicating he wants me to get down on the floor and play with him.
Katie mentioned this afternoon that there is a new kid named “Max” in her class.New kid Max at school.
At 5:30pm we met Amy, a future film student who is taking a semester off. She is applying for the position of nanny for Bobby. We later learned from Hannah that her family is rich. I wasn’t exactly sure how I would feel but I did manage to sit up in the LazyBoy.
