Day #2647 (Mon., Apr. 3, 2017) – Nanny Christine’s First Day
Our new nanny, Christine from Equador, started work today. She took Bobby to the park this morning. She doesn’t seem to need as much guidance as Karen did.
Katie was not feeling well this morning, which seems to be a pretty regular occurrence as of late. My wife took her to the doctor and they gave her a test for mono. The results came back negative so the doctor is wondering if nasal drip might be causing the issue. He said she should take Flonase. While at the drug store my wife bought Katie the cute little fox to the left as the blood test hurt. Katie showed me the pinprick on the end of her finger.
Christine takes Bobby to park. She doesn’t require as much guidance as Karen.
This evening I tucked Katie into bed. Asked her how things were going. I’m going to try to do this more often as my wife tells me that she often opens up about things in the evening when you put her to bed.
Wife went to bed for 1.5 hours while I tended to Bobby. I saw UNC win the basketball championship.
Drew Bobby a rhino and he would pick it up and try to scare me with it. Also, a pony tail was a snake.
Woke up wife to take over and went to bed.
