My wife took Katie to the Science Expo at UNC this afternoon. Katie got to play in corn scotch goo. They also had a tour of the chemistry department lab and their 3D printing exhibit. They blew massive bubbles. Katie got to make a clay pot. They also met LaDonna and their kids and had lunch with them. Their boy Rory was very good to Bobby during the Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday.
While they were out and about I stayed home and took care of Bobby. He was supposed to go to bed at 11:30am but that was not to be. He indicated that he was full on four separate occasions and each time I took him to bed. He would roll around on the crib for a while and was soon up crying for daddy. I lost count of all the food that he ate, but it was around 1/2 tub of Greek yogurt and about five jars of baby food. He eventually fell asleep at 2:42pm. Daddy went to bed for a nap soon after.
The photo to the right shows the new robot that I gave Bobby this evening. They had a special on them at WalGreens a while back. Under $15 for three of them. I decided that I would give him one of them tonight. This robot tickled his fancy and my wife brought out the other “black” robot that was packaged away in a box. Frankly, I think he likes that black one more for some reason…
I found the white glue that I’m planning to use to make a toilet paper tube car garage for Bobby. I put it on my bedstand and Bobby saw it too. Well, he had to play with it and leave it “somewhere”, so I had to go looking for it when it was time to actually make the garage.
