Day #2701 (Sat., May 27, 2017) – Water Balloon Fight
This morning I broke out the water balloons that I picked up at Harris-Teeter on Thursday night. Quite the need little contraption…wished I had thought of it. You just hook the end of the device on the water hose and turn it on. It will fill up all the water balloons and they will fall off when they are full. I used the top of our turtle sandbox to contain them (see photo to the right). I would make the rubber a bit thicker I think as a number of them burst as soon as they fell off the rods. Oh well, the kids enjoyed soaking each other at any rate…and my wife and I as well.
We stayed home all day. What a great way to relax and just enjoy life for a while. Sometimes we are going to and fro too much. Wait til Bobby gets older and we have two sets of events and activities and birthdays to attend.
I stopped off at Trader Joe’s tonight to pick up supplies for the BBQ at Mattie’s house tomorrow. Mainly fruits for the fruit bowl that my wife will be making. I had to go to WholeFoods to get the grapes as Trader Joe’s was out of them.
Bobby was dragging Katie around by a chain this evening and saying “Bad Dog”. It’s amazing how tolerant Katie is of him.
