Day #2720 (Thu., Jun. 15, 2017) – New Swim Shoes
Bobby sure loves his new bed. He will crash on it at bedtime and nap time surrounded by his fire trucks and other toys. He also likes the fact that, unlike the crib, he can get out and about and get books off the shelf and play with his other toys. Sometimes he will just crash on the floor and not make it back to his bed, but he’ll get the hang of it eventually.
My wife picked up some “swimming shoes” for us via Amazon today (see photo to the right). She was reading that these would be really helpful at Great Wolf Lodge as you are walking around too and fro the various pools and water activities quite a bit. Katie and Bobby’s swimming shoes had little shark teeth on them so they pretended to eat each other (and mommy and daddy) with them.
Food is going to be a bit of a challenge at Great Wolf Lodge. We don’t want to spend a fortune on restaurants and would prefer to eat good quality rather than “junk” food, so we are planning to go to Trader Joe’s and stock up tomorrow and take this food with us. Those little “oven-baked cheese bites” are great and convenient and everyone seems to like them.
