Day #2728 (Fri., Jun. 23, 2017) – The Music Show
The photo to the right shows the sign on Katie’s bedroom door. I’m not exactly sure what the “8” is for, but it goes to show how much Katie is into music these days. She has started to move beyond the piano and into voice. My wife tells me that her voice has improved dramatically since she started taking piano lessons.
My wife will take Katie to her bedroom for about an hour each evening to practice the piano. I will play with Bobby and feed him while they are there as this cannot be done with Bobby around. He will try to take over the piano and smash away at the keys. It won’t be long before we will be taking him to lessons. We’ve thought about him learning the violin via the Suzuki method, but the piano is so much more versatile. You can play almost any type of music on it, and we also already have one so this will be one less thing to purchase.
