Today is our last day at Carolina Beach. My wife cleaned up the cottage this morning while I entertained the kids.
On the drive back we stopped off at the Tregembo Wildlife Park (see photo to the right). The old lady at the admission area was really crabby and wasn’t very friendly. You would have thought she would have been more friendly with a family with small children. We bought two packages of corn and peanuts for $1 each to feed the animals.
About 1/2 way home Bobby was getting fussy so we decided to stop off at MacDonalds. We were very lucky that this particular MacDonalds location had a Playland Park area. The kids were able to burn off some of that extra energy.
We arrived home around 5 pm this evening. Of course, Ginger was waiting for us at the door. It was a nice trip, and a rather long drive, but it’s nice to be home.
