Day #2800 (Tue., Sep. 5, 2017) – Scheduling Knee Surgery
We haven’t heard from Leah. We were hoping that she could start work today. Alas, we effectively don’t have a nanny. I took today off work as a “personal day” to tend to Bobby so that my wife could recover and get some sleep.
Tomorrow is Bobby’s first day at preschool so we tested out some of his supplies. The photo to the left shows his new backpack. Gone are the animals for Katie. In are the wheels for Bobby.
We did find time today to schedule appointments for my upcoming knee operation. The consultation will be on September 18th and if the doctor wants to go ahead with it the surgery will be on September 28th.
My wife had meetings at both Katie’s and Bobby’s schools this evening so I stayed home and tended to the kids. My legs were shot by the time she got back, but at least we got it done.
