Day #2852 (Fri., Oct. 27, 2017) – Katie & The Haunted House
The photo to the left shows the layout of the Veterinarian Board Game that I was planning to work on with Katie tomorrow for Daddy/Daughter day. This will have to wait for next month as there is something more important now…developing the firetruck/walker that will be daddy’s Halloween costume this year.
This evening people from Katie’s school were going to a haunted house organized by CLAWS (a non-profit dedicated to helping wild and exotic animals). From 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm it is for the kids and after that, they bring actors out and it becomes a scary haunted house fit for adults. My wife had someone pick Katie up since she cannot drive after dark.
With Katie away this evening my wife and I took Bobby for a walk to the end of Mount Bolus and back. I folded the stroller up and my wife wheeled it alongside me in case I needed it. No problems walking whatsoever. In fact, it looks like I might not even have a limp when it is all said and done.
Bobby managed to find the package of Fireman Sam figurines so we went ahead and gave them to him. He now has a number of figurines to go along with his Firetruck Jupiter.
