Day #2853 (Sat., Oct. 28, 2017) – Katie Makes Some Saves

My wife took Katie to soccer practice today. She did quite well. She was on defense and actually made a couple of saves. Although she enjoyed soccer, she wants to go back to taking dance class next year.
While the girls were away I tended to Bobby. I’m not sure why I’m so dizzy and tired. It might be the drugs, or perhaps I’m just healing now that the leg pain is gradually going away. At any rate, it was quite a challenge to put Bobby to bed. I put him to bed once, with is Jupiter Firetruck and Fireman Sam figurines. When he didn’t sleep I took him out to feed him some more. I told him that if he didn’t eat he was going to bed. After a few bites, he said that he wanted to go to bed. He played a bit with his Fireman Sam figurines and then he was out.
When Bobby got up from his nap we all headed out to Sam’s Club. My wife needed to get supplies for the Halloween party. On the way, we stopped off at the Dollar Store to get some bristol board for my Fireman/Walker. We then went to the new Chick-Fil-A on 15-501 so that the kids could eat and play in the play area. It has a plane and helicopter for Bobby. I looked after the kids while my wife went to Sam’s Club by herself to get the supplies. We had to hurry home as my wife has a hard time seeing after nightfall.
