Day #2863 (Tue., Nov. 7, 2017) – Our Guests Leave For N.S.
The photo to the right shows some chalk drawings that Katie has done on the concrete slab in front of our door.
There is a teacher work day so Katie is home today. Bobby was up early, so so was my wife. I got up as well, so we texted Terry and Elizabeth to tell them that we were up and would love to have them join us for breakfast. Turkey bacon, eggs, and Kona coffee with cream. Katie gave a bit of piano concert for our guests this morning. Around 9am they hit the road as they have a long drive ahead of them back to Nova Scotia.
We thought that Bobby was outside playing this morning but he wandered off to Genevieve’s house. We’re thinking that we need to get some sort of a GPS device to track his movements. I see that there is one for sale on Amazon that you can attach to his clothes via a keychain.
Katie came out of her bedroom this evening crying. She misses our guests, especially Elizabeth who gave her a DVD of her songs. She fell asleep last night listening to them.
