Day #2867 (Sat., Nov. 11, 2017) – Arnesa & Family Come To Clean
Arnesa and her whole family came over to our house to clean this morning. We are hoping to pay them, but it will be a tough sell. Baby Ayra sure liked one of Katie’s stuffed cats. She would hug it, just like Katie would. Bobby of course came over and grabbed it by the tail and started to hit people with it.
I found my wallet. It was hidden in one of the little compartments in my luggage, behind all the arts drawings that Katie made for me while I was in the hospital.
My wife gave Katie simple instructions this afternoon. Eat your soup and then you can play your computer games. When she woke up from her nap she was playing her computer games and the soup was not even touched. It looks like we are going to need to get progressively tough on her in regards to these rewards. We’ll feed her, cloth her and shelter her, but these privileges she loves so much much be earned. This is an important lesson in life that she is going to need to learn at some point…might as well be now.
This evening we packed up the kids and went to Chick-Fil-A on 15-501. The kids love the play yard area and Bobby especially loves the helicopter (see photo to the left). You can get a meal for four people (ours was under $25) and the kids get a safe play area and a bit of excitement. What’s not to love.
