I had physical therapy at UNC this morning. This is the first morning that I drove myself. Usually my wife has been driving me but I feel good enough to drive now. We did a workout up and down the stairs. It was quite difficult, but something that I will be able to do at work.
I drove to Wal-Mart after the pt session and picked up some golf tees. I brought the pumpkin into the house this afternoon and showed Bobby how to drive the tees into the pumpkin and take them out again with a hammer (see photo to the left). In fact, both Katie and Bobby enjoyed this activity. Bobby is showing some incredible abilities, like using an adult hammer at such a young age.
There was a bit of drama on the way to school this morning. Apparently Helen made a face at Katie and as a result Katie wants her mother to take her to school tomorrow. Up til now Susan has been helping us by taking Katie to school. We told Katie that she is going to have to get used to people disappointing her and making faces. Susan will be driving the girls to school tomorrow as usual. I will start taking Katie (and possibly Helen) to school when I return to work on Thursday.
