Bobby was running around with Katie’s bike helmet this morning. He can hook the buckle himself but will come to you crying in order to get it off his head when he gets tired of it. He was also jumping around to the song “Hop Like A Bunny”.
I drew a bit with Bobby this morning (see photo to the left).Despite all the Christmas gifts of the past few days Katie is back to her rather regular routine of playing with her animals, the Lego blocks that will pen them in, watching television and playing with the computer. She does enjoy playing with her Fairy garden, but it takes a while for all the seeds to sprout. Some of them are starting to sprout today, but it will take a while before the “garden” comes into realization.
Bobby, on the other hand, is enjoying his blaster gun immensely. He accidentally hit me in the face this evening and when I told him not to aim at people’s faces he started to cry. No damage done, which is why I got such a low-powered “sponge” rifle to begin with, but it’s good for him to learn valuable lessons in this regard. The balls are getting fewer and farther between these days as they get lost. I thought of getting a new supply at Wal-Mart, but I might just let this die down a bit unless Bobby really gets upset about not having ammo.
