Day #2936 (Fri., Jan. 19, 2018) – Sledding On The Road
The photo to the right shows the fancy drawing that Katie did. Her artistic abilities are improving day-by-day.
My wife took Katie and Bobby sledding on the road outside our driveway. A plow eventually came and destroyed everything.
The roads have been plowed but I cannot get out of our driveway so another day of working from home. I was finally able to get out of our driveway at around 3 pm this afternoon so I went to work for a bit. Before I left I stopped off at Helen’s to pick Katie up. Katie got an egg from Helen when she was over playing with her this afternoon. When I drove over to pick her up she gingerly held it all the way home. Once home it fell off our shoe bench and broke so Katie ate it.
We went to Crunkleton’s bar after work for a going away party for Matthew and Rod. Alex, our former infrastructure guy, showed up. Parking is always a challenge. I had a club soda.
We are planning on having a “Dinosaur-Themed” birthday party for Bobby in March. This has many more options than the fireman theme we were thinking of. Besides, Bobby is really into dinosaurs more than firemen these days. When YouTube comes on he wants to see “Park Ranger Aaron” deal with his dinosaur problems.
Bobby was watching a YouTube cartoon this evening and said he saw a “Zombie Sun” and it was scaring him.
