Day #2957 (Fri., Feb. 9, 2018) – Insomnia Cookies
After dropping Katie and Helen off at Glenwood I stopped off at WalMart. I needed to get a doorknob and lock to keep Bobby out of the bedroom. While there I came across a great dinosaur adventure set for $14.99. I picked it up for his birthday, which will be in a little over a month.
When I got to work they had some Insomnia Cookies in the break room. I picked up a couple of them for Katie and Bobby (see photo to the right), and one for my wife as well. I ended up cutting them into 1/3’s and giving them each a plate so that they could try each one. Katie didn’t like the chocolate one as it had mint pieces in it. She hates mint. Bobby doesn’t tend to like too many sweets at any time.
Katie and Bobby went down to the brook behind our house this afternoon. We’re going to have to be extra special cautious with Bobby as he grows older. He’s so adventurous we don’t want him wandering down the brook by himself.
The opening ceremony for the Winter Olympics in South Korea was on television this evening.
