Day #3004 (Wed., Mar. 28, 2018) – Robotic Arm
Bobby came bouncing into the bedroom at 6 am this morning. That’s one of the problems with him going to bed so early these days…he gets up early as well!
The photo to the left shows the robotic arm that I picked up at Walgreens. It was regularly $59.99 but on sale for $17.99 … less than 1/3 of the original cost. A deal too good to pass up on. I think they are getting rid of Christmas inventory. The kids will love it.
When I got home this evening we made sure the kids finished dinner before the festivities began. I assembled the kids around the dining room table (their location for daddy’s unleashing of “Special Presents”). I then went to the car with a blanket and wrapped the box in it. Next was the big unveiling.
The next step was to find batteries. After that, a quick run by daddy to make sure all the buttons were working properly, then I gave the remote to the kids.
Both kids liked it, but I think Katie liked it more as all the buttons and such were a bit overwhelming for Bobby. I picked up a toy dinosaur and a hat and moved them around the living room. Katie really enjoyed playing with it. For some reason she loves robotics. She is not into science much, but robotics seem to be different for her for some reason.
