Day #3020 (Fri., Apr. 13, 2018) – “APPROVED” Or “NOT”
Katie was up early this morning watching cartoons. She didn’t get dressed or even touch her smoothie. We are going to have to talk to Sharon tomorrow about this sort of behavior. It’s possible that this is normal for girls of her age, but it would be much better for her if she was more disciplined and not so much “head in the clouds” (or cartoons)…
The knee surgeon called me this morning on my cell phone. I rushed home so that my wife and I could call him back. He said that I needed a full knee replacement rather than a partial knee replacement and that insurance was going to cover it. Apparently, some clerk put a “NOT” in front of the “APPROVED” by mistake. Go figure…
They had some free muffins in the break area at work so I picked up a banana nut muffin and a blueberry muffin to take home to Katie and Bobby (see photo to the left). They were from “Food Lion” so you know that they are healthy…
This evening I tended to the kids while my wife went to a meeting with the parents of other Mandarin students. There is a big decision looming on the fate of the program and we need to get our “ducks in a row”.
