Arnesa is off to Florida for a vacation so I took Bobby to the Community Park in Chapel Hill for a change. Bobby got a kick out of sitting on the big chair (see photo to the right).
At the Community Park Bobby played with the various contraptions, but was not even interested in the huge tire swing, which I thought he would really like. We gravitated to the rose garden and he really enjoyed running sprints while I timed him on my smartphone stopwatch.
After the park we went to Trader Joe’s for groceries. We’re trying to trim back, but he really wanted Swedish Fish, so I got him some.
The next stop was Whole Foods. Unfortunately they didn’t seem to have any fireman carts that the kids can usually sit in. Did Amazon get rid of them after the merger?
Bobby insisted in sleeping in his Cat Man costume. That includes the tail and the mask. He finally nodded off at 1:20 pm.
There was a board meeting tonight at Glenwood. My wife went while I stayed home and tended to the kids. Tense times, but they did vote on the future of the Mandarin Program and we won. Glenwood will be a dual language Chinese-English school moving forward.
