Day #231 (Sun., Aug 22, 2010) – Turkish Restaurant
This is the last Sunday in which my mother-in-law will be here. She is flying home next Saturday.
All four of us went to do some sight-seeing this afternoon. We drove out to Durham to see Duke Chapel, and did a bit of shopping, the topped it off with a great meal at the Turkish restaurant down the street. The waitress said that she remembered little Katie. My mother-in-law and I both had a cup of strong Turkish Coffee (see the photo to the right)…delish! Check out that cute little coffee cup…
My wife picked up a couple of nice outfits for little Katie at JC Penney’s this afternoon. She had a coupon so was able to get two dresses for $5.00 total…that’s $2.50 each!!!
