Day #3229 (Thu., Nov. 8, 2018) – Lightning McQueen Car
Katie is home sick today as well. I couldn’t be away from the house for long as my wife had to run errands and she needs someone around in case she gets sicker. While she was out she picked up Bobby a “Lightning McQueen” car (see photo to the left) for Bobby at a consignment shop.
Arnesa took baby Ayra and Claudia to Umstead Park this morning. I dropped Bobby off at 9:30 am and came to get him at 10:20 am to drive him to storytime at Flyleaf Books. I then picked him up at 11:30 am and drove him home for lunch and his nap. Amy and Frankie joined us at Umstead Park but not for storytime.
Katie’s temperature is up so we took her to the doctor this evening at 6:30 pm. We had quite the wait so I let Bobby ride up and down the elevator to kill some time. I also let him watch some videos on YouTube (luckily they had wifi at the doctor’s office). The doctor tested for mono, but it was negative. He still thinks it is just a viral infection that will have to wear itself off.
