Day #3272 (Fri., Dec. 21, 2018) – Bobby’s Concert
Bobby’s Christmas Concert was at 10:15 am today. I dropped him off and went home to check email and then went back. My wife drove separately and waited for Arnesa and Ayra in the parking lot. Bobby was charming as usual (see photo to the left).
At one point Bobby was without a musical instrument. The boy near him was without one as well and started to cry. Bobby just kept on… smiling and clapping his hands. What a trooper! This sort of attitude will serve him well when he gets older.
Katie was very upset that she could not make it to Bobby’s concert. Oh well, her consolation was that they were having a pajama day at Glenwood.
Katie had a sleepover at Helen’s this evening. Monty went to stay with his grandparents. Katie was upset that we came to get her rather than let her spend the night. We don’t mind her having a sleepover at our house, but don’t want her sleeping over at other people’s houses just yet.
I went to the Dollar Store this evening to get stocking stuffers for the kids and Maple and our two cats. I went to Trader Joe’s afterwards for a turkey, but they do not have them for Christmas, only Thanksgiving. Hmmm… I thought they did…
