Day #3306 (Thu., Jan. 24, 2019) – Helen’s Last Year At Glenwood

I thought Bobby might want to go to the park or the mall today but he wanted to go to have a Daddy/Son Day at the Dollar Store and McDonald’s instead.  When I told him that this was only once a month he got upset and just wanted to stay home.  Oh well, it’s raining outside anyway.

I left Bobby alone in the home office this morning and it went “quiet”, which means he was up to something.  The found the drawing to the left, one of my keyboards arranged, and heaven knows “what else”…  I guess I will find out…

We made some more homemade “Play Doh”.  He wanted to help me color it.  He also wanted to help me make some coffee (he poured in the grounds and turned on the machine) and scrambled eggs (he turned on the microwave).

I had one hard time putting the boy to bed for his nap.  In the end I decided to give him a bath.  That calmed him down a bit.  He was out at 2:50 pm.

This is going to be Helen’s last year at Glenwood.  We’ll have to figure out some other transportation method for Katie as she and Helen have been “car-pooling” this year.  Rumors are that they will be leaving Chapel Hill and moving to Cary.
