Day #3307 (Fri., Jan. 25, 2019) – Mr. Battle Retires
I drove out to Burlington to see the folks at IFG this morning. I dropped Bobby off at school before I went. He gave both of his teachers a big hug when I dropped him off.
My wife picked Bobby up from school as I was not able to make it back to Chapel Hill on time.
Katie told me that they gave a retirement party for Mr. Battle at Glenwood today. I guess that he is quite the NC State fan, which is interesting as he lives in Chapel Hill.
Bobby told me that he played with Luca behind the school this afternoon. They played both “hide & seek” and “tag”.
Bobby was playing in my bathroom this evening. I told him not to touch anything and he promised not to. Well, he ended up cutting his finger on my razor, which he got a bandaid for (see photo to the left). He will not be allowed to do this again as he promised not to touch anything.
