4:30am – We just put little Katie back to bed. She slept for about 4 hours this night, so it’s getting better and better.
9:45am – My wife told me that she just fed Katie but she spit up most of it. She thinks that she overfed. Little Katie is resting on the bed and I am playing with her. I put my finger in her hand and gently tug on it. I find that her grip is getting stronger by the day.
11:00am – Katie is still sleeping. She seems to sleep better in the little white “sleeper bag” that a friend gave us. Maybe it keeps her warmer? Maybe it makes her feel more secure? Maybe she likes the color white? Maybe it’s the train? Alas by the time she grows up she will have forgotten this chapter in her life and will not be able to tell us…
6:30pm – I had to leave for the day, but I’m back now. My wife said that little Katie was up and about and awake for most of the afternoon. Everyone I meet wants to see pictures of little Katie. Awh, what a beautiful baby! Awh, isn’t she cute! I can’t agree more…but then again I’m not very partial am I…
8:30pm – Little Katie is playing her “I’ll feed then fall asleep til you put me in my crib then I’ll wake up again” game. She seems to really like it. My wife and I wished we could turn the chapter…
9:15pm – Little Katie is such a “funny little animal”. Sometimes she gives off these cute little squeaks and squawks that remind you of one of those little doggie squeeze toys. It’s really interesting when she is crying and then gets the hiccups. Yahhhh-Hic, Yawwwhhh-Hic… How cute is that?
