Day #3332 (Tue., Feb. 19, 2019) – Daddy/Son Day #6
Bobby was very quiet in the AM when got up this morning. I found out why… He was painting at the dining room table…what a mess.
Daddy/Son Day #6 today!
Haircut time for both of us at CiCi’s. Bobby was very quiet in the back seat on the ride over. Why? He took the string off the two Power Rangers that I put in place so he would not lose them.
We went to the Dollar Store near where I used to live in Durham afterward. He wanted to get a combat set with a knife, water bottle, compass, and watch (see photo to the right). The lady at the checkout asked him if he wanted to be in the army when he grew up. Her son has been in the navy for 15 years. Bobby was silent.
McDonald’s afterward. Happy Meal. Bobby brought in all his toys.
Piano class for Katie this evening. Both Bobby and I were napping when my wife left so it was dark and quiet when we both woke up from our respective naps.
