Day #3349 (Fri., Mar. 8, 2019) – Fire Truck Birthday Cake
My wife took today off work today to help organize Bobby’s birthday party. After she dropped Bobby off at preschool she went to Southern Season’s to get a big cake pan and some “green gravel” (i.e.: M&M’s) for the fire truck themed icing display (see photo to the right). The next stop was Trader Joe’s for some other birthday supplies.
She then came to pick me up and we went to Sam’s Club together. We got some plates for the food and cake, some snacks for the kids, and most importantly, pizzas. Sam’s Member Mark pizzas are 4 for $10…quite the savings! That comes out to $0.30 per slice… Cheap for feed the whole hoard of kids and parents that will descend upon us tomorrow.
I picked up Bobby at preschool at 1 pm. Frankie gave him his Batman figurine to play with, so Bobby took that to his bed with him for his afternoon nap.
The photo to the right shows the birthday cake that my wife made for Bobby.
Katie was supposed to clean her room but she promised my wife that she would not let anyone in to it during the birthday celebration tomorrow.
