Day #3369 (Thu., Mar. 28, 2019) – Bike Helmet’s For All
My wife took the kids to Morgan Creek Park this morning. They were on their bikes and had a blast. I guess my wife, who had to walk, had a hard time keeping up.
I went and got a men’s bike at Hillsborough Walmart while they were away. Nice bike, but I had a hard time getting on it. Not sure if my knees have something to do with that?
The whole family got into the van and went to the Walmart in Hillsborough this evening to see if we could get a woman’s bike for my wife. They didn’t seem to have any that fit the bill. We did get helmets for the kids (see photo to the right), one for my wife and I, and a bell for Katie’s bike as well.
I did a bit more investigating in regards to women’s bikes this evening. My wife said that she never had gears on her bikes, and they do have bikes called “Comfort Classics” at Walmart. I wonder if she would not like one of these bikes?
